Equal Partners ... already 2 years!
Nose to the grindstone, sailing up hill and down dale on the roads of the country, the 16 founders of Equal Partners had almost forgotten the second anniversary of the creation of the firm.
It's nevertheless a great opportunity to take a first look back after 25 months of intense activity.
There has been a lot of work, corresponding to the sizable enthusiasm generate during the inauguration day.
No break-in period, although the paint on the wall hadn't yet dried and the computer bugs and beginner hiccups had crashed the party.
The members of the Equal team had to learn a second profession, that of entrepreneur, manager, computer specialist, promoter, logistician, accountant, etc.
The very concrete opportunity to apply their profession of lawyer to real life.
There were departures, always on good terms, many applicants, arrivals, ... There were trainees who became lawyers, lawyers who became associates, associates who changed professions, ... There were new clients, recovered clients, loyal clients, ... There were cries out, gnashing of teeth, tears, ... There was lots of laughter, ... There were 4 births, a bit of gentleness in this brutal world.
There was a project, a bit crazy, which, two years later, is still there, vivacious and creative.
Of course, many questions remain unanswered.
There are still hurdles to overcome, other projects to realize, solutions to implement...
The 16 founders are now 22: 13 women and 9 men still animated by this same desire to practice law differently for a better "living together".
Nowadays, it's not insignificant, and is the proof of a sustainable project.
