The new lycée Sœur Emmanuelle, belonging to the free network, was inaugurated on 2 September 2017, avenue d'Itterbeek in Anderlecht.

From September 4th, before the beginning of the new academic year, the school will host 135 first-year common and differentiated pupils of secondary school. It aims to take care of about 400 first-degree pupils only (1st & 2nd secondary school) next year.

The new building is semi-passive. The land belongs to the Archbishop. The new building has five classes occupied since Friday by about one hundred pupils of the primary school Raymond Van Belle located at the back of the lycée Sœur Emmanuelle, and already six classes this year of secondary school for the lycée in itself . Dutch immersion instruction will be offered to pupils who wish so.
