Privacy and personnal data

The European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is applicable to all sectors and to all member states. This regulation establishes the principles and rules on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of their personal data.

Public authorities have decided, rightfully so, that those developments required a strong and coherent legal framework, backed by strong enforcement, in order to guarantee everyone's rights to personnal data protection.

However, the application of the law remains a complex exercise.
